Months of separation from family during treatment for Wilm’s Tumour made 4-year-old Yan Joo wish to go on “this big ship “ with his family.

As a special guest of the Captain on a high seas cruise in Penang, Yan Joo and family were granted access to The Bridge, where the Captain and his crew command SuperStar Libra.

Yan Joo learned the basics of navigating a “big ship”. In this journey, brave Captain Yan Joo sailed into the port of Hope, Strength and Joy, with the best crew and his family by his side.

In the same tone of sheer joy and excitement, to this day, Yan Joo continues to share his cruise experience with friends, teachers and relatives back home.
