In October 2022, Ain had trouble walking without feeling some sort of discomfort.
As the pain would come and go, not until later in December, when Ain had her second menstrual cycle and the pain was no longer bearable; she was then rushed to the emergency room for an ultrasound and biopsy test.
Doctors later confirmed that Ain was battling genital cancer at the young age of 12.
Being from a small little town in Perak, Ain goes back and forth from her hometown to Kuala Lumpur, more than she could count. But she only knew Kuala Lumpur as the city she had to go to receive treatments at the hospital.
Ain loved watching about all the nice things KL had to offer – yummy food, bright night lights, skyscrapers and big, fancy malls. But this was all a side of KL that she’s never see. When asked what was her heartfelt wish, she wished to visit Kuala Lumpur how she’s always wanted to.
On her wish day, Ain was in the warm hospitality of Pavilion Hotel by Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur located right in the heart of this busy city for two nights, enjoyed fun activities including a visit to Royal Selangor Visitor Centre, Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower and of course, no fun day in KL city would be complete without a trip to Aquaria KLCC!
Ain went home with a brand new memory of Kuala Lumpur – the glimmering, bustling city that she’s always wanted to experience, and she got to enjoy this special moment with those she loved the most.
