Siddiq was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma stage 4 in 2021. He is the eldest brother in the family made up of his little sister and brother. Siddiq is an adventurous and optimistic child given that he has gone through a few major surgeries and 6 cycles of chemotherapy treatments for his condition and uses a peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC). –nothing could break his will power.
In his wish capture stage, Siddiq’s wish was to stay at a hotel with a swimming pool due to his love for cool and blue waters. We kicked off Siddiq’s wish journey with his wish anticipation stage by doing Kahoot Quiz on what (or where!) his wish might be! The team also created an activities’ calendar for him to count down the days for his grand wish day. We even got Siddiq a swimming suit and equipment for his safety and adventure in the water.
With his swimming goggles on Siddiq was ready for the water! He kept splashing in and out of the cool waters of his private swimming pool! His little sister and brother had just as much fun as Siddiq. This wish goes to show that a wish impacts not only the wish child but also their family. Siddiq’s smile grew from cheek to cheek during his stay at the hotel and we are filled with joy!
