Every hero has an origin story, and for Aqra, it begins with Ultraman.
After being diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma in October 2024, Aqra spent months going through treatment with one constant source of inspiration: Ultraman. Brave, strong, and always protecting others, he dreamed of becoming his favourite hero.
On his Wish Day, that dream became reality. Dressed in his Ultraman suit, Aqra took on Darth Vader in an epic battle, determined to save the people he cared about. But the most unforgettable moment came when he rescued his doctor, Dr. Loh, from being “kidnapped” by Darth Vader. After his victory, Aqra ran straight into her arms for the biggest hug.
His father captured the moment perfectly: “Aqra saved the doctor who has been saving him.”
For one incredible day, Aqra wasn’t playing the role of a hero—he was one. Filled with courage, joy, and imagination, he reminded everyone around him that heroes come in many forms, and sometimes they wear Ultraman suits.
